Corinne Kinczel
Chef, Healer, and Culinary Adventurer
From a young age, I embraced the joy of playing with food, inspired by my mother—a talented cook and preschool teacher—who encouraged culinary experimentation in our home. What began with delightful mud pies evolved into a passion for creating dishes such as fresh pestos and homemade pasta by the age of ten. Food has always been at the heart of my life, with family gatherings revolving around shared meals and explorations of various ethnic cuisines.
With over 25 years of experience as a professional chef, I have journeyed from being a private chef and caterer to owning a grocery store and a prepared foods and catering business. My culinary creations reflect my deep love for food, characterized by vibrant flavors and an unwavering commitment to using organic, local, and sustainable ingredients. I believe that nourishing the human body goes hand in hand with caring for Mother Earth.
Known as the "Mistress of Spices," I thrive on discovering interesting ingredients during my travels, often starting my adventures at local markets. I love to experiment with new spices and flavors and bring a global culinary experience to my customers.
In addition to my culinary pursuits, I have a profound connection to spirituality. After a spontaneous awakening two years ago, I delved into various healing modalities, beginning with sound healing. I trained with tuning forks and a gong master in Santiago, Chile, now offering chakra balancing sessions and sound healing in the serene redwoods near my home in Oakland, California. My fascination with Dolores Cannon's hypnosis techniques led me to practice past life regression (QHHT), and I've also embraced my skills in mediumship.
My soul’s mission is to nourish both people and the Earth. I am expanding my services to include retreat chef opportunities, traveling the world to help nourish those attending retreats. My adaptability in various kitchen settings allows me to bring my culinary magic wherever I go.
As my husband humorously notes, “A medium and a chef? That’s medium rare!” I invite you to join me on this flavorful journey of nourishment and healing.
